His most prominent facial feature is his lantern jaw, which displays a significantly sharper angle in it than most other Akamu residents of the same species. His general choice of attire involves woollen trousers and a leather blacksmith's apron, tools of the trade as much as clothes. Like most other Suyeta he wears a covering over his eyes to shield them for decency's sake, which in his case is a coarse felt strip tied across them.

Character Biography:Rukil was born amongst death. The trauma of bearing a large child such as he was the death of his mother, a woman who his father had loved since his own childhood. Even now, Rukil lays the blame for her death squarely on himself, striving to be all he can be in the memory of a woman he never knew.
His young years were the same as his peers, raised together, playing and fighting together, all watched over by carers while their parents attended to their daily duties.
Even from this tender age Rukil showed every sign of a future blacksmith. Strong, interested in the craft and utterly perfectionist about everything. His father agreed with the assessment and requested that he be tutored by and smith who would have him. Rukil ended up studying his vocation under the watchful eyes of Jard, a Benipé almost without peer in his skill.
Rukil was offered the option of becoming a Suyeta almost fifteen years ago, when his half sister was still a ten year stripling, an offer he took without hesitation. He has been solidly working away at his craft ever since, the loss of his sight seemingly not bothering him at all.
